My aim is to create a portrait of the highest artistic standard.

A portrait, being more than a photograph, tells a story about the life and

character of the subject.

When a portrait is commissioned, the deliverable is a crafted work that

your friends and family can enjoy for generations.

To achieve the best results, I prefer to meet for an hour or so on an

informal basis to more clearly understand the personality and interests

of the subject. I then take photographs for reference purposes. The

consultation can be at a choice of location, or at my Wellington studio.

At this time, discussions on the scope of the artwork, including it’s size,

preferred medium and complexity are undertaken.
