COMMISSIONING AN ARTWORK

My aim is to create a portrait of the highest artistic standard.

A portrait, being more than a photograph, tells a story about the life and character of the subject.

When a portrait is commissioned, the deliverable is a crafted work that your friends and family can enjoy for generations.

THE PROCESS

To achieve the best results, I prefer to meet for an hour or so on an informal basis to more clearly understand the personality and interests of the subject. I then take photographs for reference purposes. The consultation can be at a choice of location, or at my Wellington studio.

At this time, discussions on the scope of the artwork, including it’s size, preferred medium and complexity are undertaken.

Price guide is based on a standard portrait of a single subject.

Quotes for other sizes and options are available upon request.

Artworks are supplied unframed.
